Ill fated weapon

Been a while since I updated anything on here. So I figured I might as well show you a concept.

I don't particularly care for most weapons. And personally, I don't care for swords. They're used by everyone; and while handy, have never held a place in my heart. But when a concept comes to you, and you feel it's halfway decent, you have to pursuit it a little.

The sword has two ways of inflicting damage. The weapon in it's typical state can be used to dig into someone with the serated edge to hopefully hook on a bone. And then, dragging the blade towards yourself... it's like using a bit of a saw.

But, once you pull the fluff on teh end, it releases what keeps the blade straight, and releases a chained whip. It's to get someone off guard with something unexpected. And once it's released, you can use the base of the sword like a typical one. However, because the whip part needs to hook into it, it's a rather stiff blade. But it does have the range and the surprise portion of it to be quite helpful.
